Green Institute for Research & Development (GIRD) is
Member of Confederation of NGOs of Rural India (CNRI)
having 7000 members all over India.
CNRI is an Apex Body of Non-Governmental organizations of rural India with the specific objective of strengthening, co-coordinating and facilitating their working at the grass root level for integrated development of the rural India and to emerge as a think-tank as well as a consultative body at the national and international level. Presently CNRI has 6500 member organisations from among 24 States.
GIRD representation in Government of India (Ministry of Rural Development)’s Vigilance and Monitoring Committee for Rural Development Programmes for Kerala State
GIRD Secretary Mr. Shamsuddeen, A.K. has been nominated by the Government of India’s Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) to the Vigilance and Monitoring Committee for Kerala State vide MoRD Order No. Q. 13018/06/2009-AI-V & MC (RD) dated 26th March, 2010.
The Committee was set up to supervise, exercise vigilance and monitor the implementation of all the programmes of the Ministry of Rural Development
