Empowering Girl Students and Women
A CSR Initiative of IGL, implemented by GIRD
As part of its CSR initiative, Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), has launched a significant program aimed at uplifting girl students and economically weaker women in the Ballimaran area of Old Delhi.
This initiative has directly benefited over 1,500 girl students and 100 women through improvements in education, digital literacy, access to clean water, and self-employment opportunities.
Clean Water Access
Installed RO systems and water coolers in 5 schools, ensuring safe drinking water.
Digital Education
Provided smart boards and computers to support modern learning environments.
Women Empowerment
Distributed sewing machines to 100 women, enabling self-reliance and livelihood.
